Description:
Son of Abinadom.
Nothing is given regarding his age and no dates are listed in his record. However, he was born during the time of Mosiah the I and lived to see Benjamin reign as King, as well as see his brother go with Zeniff to reclaim the land of Nephi. These dates can be estimated given other dates, allowing for a more accurate estimation of Amaleki's life.
I place his birth in 231, making his father 67 when he was born. His death is then placed in 144, when he was 87.
Note that he would have been about 20 when he went with Mosiah I and they discovered Zarahemla. It also means he died about 20 years before King Benjamin.
