We do know that his son was born during the time of King Mosiah I, at least a portion of his life has to overlap with Mosiah. However, it is likely that he died before Benjamin became king. However, as none of these times are certain either, I give the following estimation.
I place his birth in 298, when his father was 58. I then place his death in 201, when he was 97.
This would mean that he was among those who fled with Mosiah I, but died shortly after finding Zarahemla.
