This section contains the events in Alma, plus the first 3 or 4 chapters of Helaman.Again, many events are given dates, and using the birth of Christ we can estimate things to within 2 or 3 years.
This is the portion of the record that is focused on the judges. Later portions shift focus to the Gadianton Robbers and secret combinations.
