The Small Plates (dec 26, 602 BC – feb 11, 121 BC)
Description:
This is the time frame for 1st Nephi through Omni, as well as the small portions of historical information in The Words of Mormon.
As dates are not common in this portion of the record, and no ages are listed for any of the people involved, all dates are my own thoughts and impressions. I explain these briefly in each person's entry.
My musings: As each prophet passed the record on they likely would have given it to one of their youngest sons. This is based on the times that are given. For the timeline to work with the dates and the number of record keepers given, then each recorder had to live to a great age, and had to have been born when they father was already advancing in age.
