The Australian Civil War was a conflict between the newly established Australian Republic and the Kingdom of Australia. It was the result of a referendum between becoming a monarchy or a republic which was held in Australia in late 2027. The referendum passed in favor of a republic by about 0.96%, and there was evidence that votes were fabricated to boost the Republic's votes.Added to timeline:
