Description:
A period when different groups turned away from Roman Catholicism to follow what they considered a more proper form of Christian worship.The time period is marked by religious persecution as different groups are persecuted with the changing of those in power. Many decided to leave England for the New World, hoping to practice life as they saw fit in the wilds of America.
