A wooden roller coaster. Mean Streak was the tallest wooden coaster in the world with the longest drop when it opened to the public, standing 161 feet (49 m). Its closure date of September 16, 2016 was announced on August 1, 2016; however, parts of its framework were used to construct its replacement, Steel Vengeance, to open in 2018.Added to timeline:
