The Roman Catholic Church believes that St. Francis Xavier converted more people to Christianity than anyone else since the missionary work of St. Paul. Other new religious orders that served Catholicism in various ways also rose out of the Reformation including the Ursulines, Capuchins (revival of the Franciscans), and Theatines.
