Scientific Revolution (jan 1, 1543 – jan 1, 1688)
Description:
This was basically the progression of the understanding of modern scientific practice. It transformed the ideas of society on the laws of nature. It is generally agreed that it started with the publication of Nicholas Copernicus' book about heliocentrism and ended with Newton's 'Principia'. One major effect of the Revolution was the invention of steam power. This ignited the shift to the Industrial Revolution.
