Description:

Old English, called aslo for Anglo saxon, Is the earliest historical form of the English language, spoken in England and southern and eastern Scotland in the early Middle Ages. It was brought to Great Britain by Anglo-Saxon ,and the first Old English literary works date from the mid-7th century.English was replaced for a time, as the language of the upper classes by Anglo-Norman, a relative of French. Old English sounded like duchess and it is not like nowadays English. Anglo-saxoy means (England) in Latin. English is called west Germanic dialect. Around year 450 new invaders arrive in the Celtic England Germanic language andwhich their language was very similar to modern germanic Dutch Icelandic.
“Beowulf” the name of the monster in the story that was written probably in c. 700–1000 it's language was West Saxon dialect of Old English and the aurthor is anonymous, still Beowulf is one of the oldest poets in English, It was consisted of 3,182 alliterative lines, and the impressing thing about it was that middle class and poor people could read it.
