Description:
The Elizabethan theatre is also known as Renaissance English theatre. It refers to the theatre of England between 1562 and 1642. This is the style of the plays of Wiliam Shakespare, Christopher Marlowe and Ben Jonson. Queen Elizabeth ordered the Elizabethan theatre. In Sweden the big arena so named Globen is built like The Elizabethan Theatre.
