Somme Offensive (jul 1, 1916 – nov 18, 1916)
Description:
This battle opposed the British and the German Empire and it occured in Picardy. The aim was to help the East front and end the implantation of the trenchs; the issue remains quite uncertain. There were 6743 casualities for the New Zealanders.
