Charles Felix Rule (jan 1, 1792 – jan 1, 1814)

Description:

When Charles was given the throne, it was during a time of war with France that left Italy in a poor economic situation. During this time, his wife died leaving him with no heir to the throne. During his reign, he enacted laws to give more power to the police, and to lower taxes for the lower class. He was known for doing a very good job for the situation he was put into immediately after inheriting the throne.
