Glorious Revolution (sep 19, 1868 – sep 27, 1873)

Description:

Isabel II was deposed because of the pronunciamiento led by Prim and Serrano. With this the Sexenio democrático starts. Amadeo Savoy (Amadeo I) is chosen as constitutional monarch of Spain in 1871. When Amadeo Savoy becomes king, Prim is killed. There's chaos in Spain because spanish people rejected Amadeo (he was a foreigner) and Prim couldn't help him. Monarchists, republicans and even the Church didn't want him.
