George II Rule (jan 1, 1727 – jan 1, 1760)
Description:
He was the second Hanoverian king of Great Britain. He was responsible for bringing England into war of the Austrian succession. In 1743, George led his troops into battle against the French at Dettingen, the last British king to fight in battle. In the last decade of his life, he was less and less concerned with politics, and died on October 25th.
