French and indian war (jan 1, 1754 – dec 1, 1763)
Description:
The British won this war, which was part of the European Seven Years’ War. But the war left the Britain in debt, and it started looking at America as a source of money. This led to a series of actions by the king and Parliament that angered Americans.
