Description:
-French biologist, microbiologist and chemist
-Discovered microbial fermentation while studying the causes of spoilage in beer and wine in 1856
-Developed pasteurization to kill the bad germs in wine and beer
-After multiple attempts was able to disprove the idea of spontaneous generation with swan neck flask expirement in 1862
