George Washington (feb 22, 1732 – dec 14, 1799)
Description:
George Washington(1732 - 1799):
A native born Virginian who served as Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army as well as President of the Constitutional Convention, George Washington can be considered one of the most impactful people in American history. His leadership and moral examples that he set are still looked at as some of the ideal traits for a leader. He would become the first President of the United States and serve dutifully until the end of his terms. He refused a third term because he felt that showing that a peaceful transition of power would be more important than ruling for another four years. Serving as a Founding Father, President, and General, as well as other titles, George Washington helped establish the United States of America in an almost unmatched way.
