Chinese Confession Program (jan 1, 1956 – jan 1, 1965)

Description:

Program from the INS that encouraged confessions of illegal entry from US citizens and residents of the Chinese in offer of legalization status in return. They granted immunity to those who confessed and participated in this program and allowed veterans to bring more family members over if they were honest about committing document fraud. Created by INS and FBI to destroy Chinese immigration network.
