Description:
Trench warfare in WW1 begun in September 1914 and ended when the Allies made a breakthrough attack that began in late July 1918. Before and after those dates were wars of movement. Trench warfare is a war tactic, or way of fighting that was used a lot by both sides on the Eastern Front and the Western Front in WW1. In trench warfare, the two sides fighting each other dig trenches in a battlefield to stop the enemy from advancing.
