The Hundred Years' War (jan 1, 1337 – jan 1, 1453)

Description:

The Hundred Years’ War was a series of conflicts between France and England over who would control the Kingdom of France. During the war, the importance of chivalry skyrocketed and became a moral practice followed by many. The French won the war and ended up with control of the Kingdom of France. However, despite their loss, England came away from the war with a lot of new knowledge, such as the impact of using guns in warfare. England was also burdened after the war with economic problems due to the amount of money they put towards their military. (3.2)
