Description:
The Delhi Sultanate was a Muslim sultanate that ruled over most of India. During the Sultanate’s rule, there was economic growth in India, in-part thanks to the invention of the cotton gin. The Delhi Sultanate also had a very powerful army - without it, the Sultanate wouldn’t have been able to fight off the Mongols. (3.2)
