Cold War (jan 1, 1947 – jan 1, 1991)
Description:
The Cold War was not an actual war, it was a time with the threat of war. It was a time of tension between the U.S. and Russia, both knowing that the other had nuclear weapons. There was a lot of political propaganda, fear, never knowing if the other would attack. Russia had an Iron Curtain, never letting information out. It ended with the Berlin Wall coming down, borders being opened, and the Iron Curtain being lifted in 1991.
