Another war against a communist country, North Vietnam, America allied with South Vietnam to prevent the spread of communism. It was a war that divided Americans, many hating the war and veterans from the war were treated badly upon their return. Many soldiers were starting to distrust the government, for keeping them there and saying that they were winning the war. The war ended on April 30,1975 with Saigon, a city in South Vietnam. America lost the war, with many casualties and losing more money.
