French control of all HBC forts except York Factory (jan 29, 1686 – apr 11, 1713)
Description:
The French launched simultaneous attacks from sea and land, conquering most of the forts. This was part of The War of Spanish Succession, ending on April 11th, 1713 with the Treaty of Utrecht signed in The Hauge, Holland.
