Charlemagne was a medieval emperor that was born in 742 and his rule started in 768 when Pope Leo III crowned him. During his reign he became king of the Franks and converted many to Christianity, By the time of his death in 814 he had most of western Europe under his control. He is widely known as the father of Europe3.2
