Description:
The Ming dynasty took over after the Yuan dynasty collapsed in 1368. During their rule the population of China would double. This Chinese dynasty was well known for their trade expansion to further out west, literature, drama, and porcelain. The Ming was founded by Emperor Taizu. He captured Beijing in 1368 and drove out the Mongol rulers. Thus he announced the beginning of the Ming dynasty. Their rule came to an end in 1644 when a decades-long period of conflict between the Qing dynasty, established by Manchu clan Aisin Gioro in Manchuria, and the Ming dynasty took place. Ultimately ending the ming dynasty.
