Description:

The Hundred Year’s War was fought between France and England during the middle ages. The cause of the war was death of Charles IV from France 1328 without a legitimate heir. This prompted the king of England, Edward III, to try to claim the throne through his french mother. The french did not like this so they fought back. France had the uperhand with more finnancial and military resoruces. The end of the conflict was never marked by a peace treaty but died out because the English had recognized that the French troops were far too strong to be directly confronted.
