First crusade 1095-1102 (may 14, 1095 – nov 14, 1102)
Description:
The first conquest was a military expedition by western Europe forces to recapture Jerusalem, the holy land. The holy land was under Muslim control at the time. The plan, which was concieved by Pope Urban II took around 60,000 soldiers through the sea and succesfully took Jerusalem in 1099 C.E.
