Description:
The Black Death was a plague pandemic which devastated Europe from 1347 to 1351 CE, killing an estimated 25-30 million people. The plague was caused by flea being carried by rodents which originated in central asia. It was then brought to Europe through ships carrying rats with the plague. It decimated about 50% of the population. It would take 200 years for the population to recover.
