Description:
Creation: The Byzantine Empire was created after Rome split. Constantine united Rome for a brief moment.
Achievements: The Byzantine Empire created the Code of Justinian, moved the capital from Rome to a Greek city, Constantinople, and continued to preserve the Roman and Greek culture.
Decline: Though the Byzantine Empire had a long reign, it eventually fell partly because of the Great Schism and partly due to invasions from the Ottomans.
