Abbasid Dynasty (jan 1, 750 – jan 1, 1258)
Description:
The Abbasid Dynasty followed the Umayyad dynasty. They expanded the number of bureaucrats, pushed for centralized imperial order, and were able to collect taxes from far distances. The Abbasid dynasty fell becuase of difficulties of communication, failure to establish priciple of succesion, failure of agricultural economy, and rise of merchinary armies.
