Sui Dynasty (jan 1, 581 – jan 1, 618)
Description:
There was a rapid return to height in China under Emperor Wendi, who reunited China. He restarted bureaucracy, restored Confucianism rituals, promoted Buddhism, improved lives of peasants, and began the Great Canal. The fall of the Sui dynasty came when Wendi's son came to power and bankrupted the country and couldn't protect from nomadic invasion, which led to rebellion.
