Description:

During the Time of Troubles, Gond's avatar manifested as a Gnome and washed up on the island of Lantan. His divine status was quickly discovered and he remained there for the duration of the crisis. His parting gift was to give them the knowledge of how to create smokepowder.
Westley began his tinker studies directly under the watchful eyes of the avatar of Gond and continued his studies for nearly a decade.
