Meiji Restoration (Japanese Industrialization) (dec 30, 1867 – mar 11, 1878)

Description:

This took place in Japan during the 1800s. This happened because Japan realized that they needed to Industrialize themselves because they could not keep up with the rest of the West. These countries are Britain, China, and America. They were prone to attack with a new navy which is another reason to spark this Industrialization. This Industrialization also led to its rise in military power.
