Song Dynasty (sep 23, 960 – aug 25, 1127)

Description:

Creation: After the fall of the Tang, a smaller dynasty emerged called the Song Dynasty. Though there was a constant pressure from the northern invaders, this time period was still considered a part of the “Golden Age”.

Achievements: During the Song, the economy was prosperous in their economy and trade due to the Silk Road. Additionally, almost every aspect of life, (art, science, technology, and lifestyles), improved for most people.

Decline: The Song Dynasty ended due to the Mongol conquest featuring Kublai Khan.
