Industrial Revolution (jan 1, 1750 – dec 31, 1850)

Description:

The Industrial Revolution took place in Great Britain from 1750-1850. In this time period more advancements were made in fuel, technology, and transportation. People discovered coal, steam, and water power that they used to power machines instead of people or animals. Also advancements in producing textiles started, moving from cottage industries to factories and using new machines such as the spinning jenny or the flying shuttle. Lastly, people used this new fuel to create steam engines to they could travel quicker, move to new places, and spread ideas.
