Patriote resurgence (nov 1, 1838 – nov 30, 1838)
Description:
Lord Durham’s departure is followed by raids along the border by exiled patriotes, aided by American citizens acting independently of their government, in what is known as ‘The Second Rebellion’. The raids are unsuccessful and quashed by action by Canada and the USA.
