Description:
Beowulf is the oldest surviving germanic epic and also the longest heroric old english poem. In more than 3000 lines long the manuscript relates the fictitious story of the hero Beowulf from southern Sweden who fights the monster so named grendel , and dragons. His goal was to bring safety to his own and other people (written in old nurse). What happend to hit is that the manuscript got damaged in accident that occured in the westminister house. Suddenly late in the night a fire broke out and the manuscript wich was extant there damaged.
