Industrial Revolution (jan 1, 1750 – jan 1, 1850)

Description:

In the IR people used factories and machines to produce goods at a faster and more efficient rate, to make the prices of these goods more accessible for everyone. There was a major drop in crop prices. People were forced to move to cities for better employment. However the only people that made a decent amount of money were the factory owners who became wealthy and the factory worker's lived poor lives. Which forced factory worker's families to make women and children work which resulted in child labor. The IR invented the coal/steam train that helped citizens travel longer distances in less time. Unfortunately every mile of track costed one unfortunate worker's life.
