The time that The Edict of Nantes was in place (apr 13, 1598 – oct 22, 1685)
Description:
The Edict of Nantes allowed French Huguenots to live in France with some restrictions. This was a successful treaty until King Louis XIV revoked it. When Louis revoked it 200,000 French Calvinists left the country. This made an economy crash but France would have no more watrs.
