Jim Crow Laws (jan 4, 1877 – nov 12, 1882)

Description:

The reconstruction of the South led to Segregation. However, the Fourteenth and Fifteenth amendment still remained part of the Constitution. Years later these amendments would be used to strengthen African Americans' rights during the Civil Rights Movement of the 1950's and 1960's.
