Ku Klux Klan ("KKK") (may 20, 1865 – feb 18, 1872)

Description:

As many racist white Southerners did not like that the Africans were getting rights like the right to vote, they formed terrorist groups that opposed civil and political rights for African Americans. They also opposed to the reconstruction. They used violence to keep blacks and other Republicans from voting in the South.
