WW2 (sep 11, 1939 – sep 2, 1945)
Description:
After the stock market crash of 1929 and the first world war Great Brittain was severely weakened and suffered greatly during the worst conflict in human history. The aftermath of the war left a ravaged and broken Europe split between two ideologies. The rise and fall of both the Japanese and German empires had set an impression on the world. Imperialism was put in a new light and Great Britain seemed no better than the powers that she had fought. This bad reputation combined with the loss of superpower status and their lack of resources was the cause of the empires decline.
