Panic of 1819 (jan 1, 1819 – dec 31, 1819)
Description:
A panic is known to be a minor depression but the Panic of 1819 seemed to be more of a post-war economic depression for the United States as many banks failed, mortgages were foreclosed and many prices were falling. This panic was what really slowed down the economic boom that occured from the Market Revolution.
