4th Massachusetts Regiment Active (jan 12, 1775 – nov 3, 1783)
Description:
The 4th Massechusetts Regiment was founded April 23, 1775 by Colonel Ebenezer Learned outside of Boston, Massachusetts. The saw a number of important battles, including the Battle of Bunker Hill and the Battle of Monmouth. Deborah Sampson served with them throughout her time in the army. They disbanded on November 3, 1783, at West Point, New York.
