Great Awakening (jan 8, 1739 – nov 6, 1744)
Description:
The Great Awakening was a religious revival that occured in the 1730-40s and was prominent throughout the thirteen British colonies.
Causes-Revivalists felt that religion was losing it's footing so it sparked a large movement throughout the colonies.
Social Impact- This was seen as a uniting factor for the new colonies, people attended churches rallies more often.
