Mary I of England (jan 1, 1553 – jan 1, 1558)
Description:
Mary was Catholic and planned to rid all Protestants in England and return it to a Catholic country once she became queen. She burned over 300 Anglicans and other Protestants at the stake for heresy. This tragic reign earned her the nickname of "Bloody Mary".
