The French and Indian War (jan 1, 1754 – feb 10, 1763)

Description:

This was a war between the British and French. France convinced native american Indians to fight with them against the British with their long-term friendship. Although certain tribes of Indians assisted the British, the French received much more support from Indians than the British did. The ending result of the war was the signing of The Treaty of Paris, or The Treaty of 1763 on February 10, 1763 that put an end to the Seven Years' War. The treaty worked in favor of the British, although most of the land conquered during the war was returned to their rightful owner, some land from Spain and France were kept by the British such as Canada and all controlled land east of the Mississippi River with the exception of New Orleans.
