American Revolution (7h 53min, apr 19, 1775 y – sep 3, 1783)

Description:

Arose from tensions between the American colonists and the colonial government, which was an extension of the British crown. The UK had recently fought the 7 years war and raised taxes on its colonies. The war began in Lexington and Concord, where the American Minutemen defeated the British, the most powerful army in the world. In 1778, the French began providing aid to the colonists which ultimately led to an American victory.
The American victory over the most powerful country in the world inspired revolutions throughout the globe, particulatly in France and Haiti. The war also drove France further into debt which eventually led to higher taxes in their own country, leading to public outrage.
